It is a unique laboratory dedicated to teaching in the field of modern methods of monitoring the quality of production with the use of industrial cameras.
Manager: Professor Ewaryst Rafajłowicz, PhD, DSc, Eng, ewaryst.rafajlowicz@pwr.edu.pl, tel. +48 (71) 320 27 95
Location: lab. L1.2 in C-16 (Technopolis) on University Campus
The Laboratory is equipped with a wide range of cameras used to monitor the quality of production: from infrared cameras, through cameras operating in visible light, to UV cameras, a 3D camera, a high-speed camera, and a laser interferometer.
It also has stands that allow simulating: defects in continuous and discrete production, laser metal heating, heat exchanger, and a vision security system.
The Laboratory conducts classes mainly for the ART, ASI and ARS specialities in the field of Control Systems and Robotics as well as engineering and MA theses. Also, several devices are related to the practical use of knowledge of control theory (laser heating control and heat exchanger model) and the IT aspects of image sequence processing (hardware compression, image databases, security monitoring).
